When Tim was a young boy, he dreamed of one thing and one thing only; becoming an astronaut. Even after he got his first computer in high school, a TRS-80, he thought they were cool, but, they were still toys and gadgets. Then, one day, while as a cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy, he saw something that would forever change his life. While watching a 3D dogfight simulation (like in "Top Gun"!), Tim's classmates were "ooh-ing and ahh-ing" over the pilot's exploits...and Tim was ignoring them and trying to figure out "OK...how did they do that?" Then and there he knew that writing software would be his passion in life. 19 years later, he founded ActivePDF and today is it's Chief Executive Officer and Chief Software Architect. A member of ActivePDF's Board of Directors, Tim also manages most of company's community relations efforts including ActivePDF's partnership with the NHL Anaheim Ducks and Honda Center and sponsorships with and contributions to charities like the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, The Wounded Warrior's Project, The Alzheimer's Association and Broadway Cares. Outside of the office, his wife, 6 children, 1 granddaughter, 3 dogs and 2 cats keeps him busy and active but he still manages to make it to hockey games and slips in a round of golf every once in a while.
If you don't learn something new every day, you're not doing your job right.
