PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING AS IT OUTLINES THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF YOUR SUBSCRIPTION
These are the terms and conditions for the activePDF, Inc. (“ACTIVEPDF”) Annual Subscription associated with the
above named product(s) and accompanying serial number(s).
1. This SUBSCRIPTION is granted to the individual that has purchased a license (“SUBSCRIBER”) from
activePDF, Inc. (“ACTIVEPDF”) or from an authorized reseller of the product. If the purchaser is an entity,
this grant applies to the entity as a whole as well.
2. The SUBSCRIPTION is for one license and one serial number only. If SUBSCRIBER owns multiple
licenses, they must purchase one subscription for each license they own.
3. The SUBSCRIPTION shall consist of the following during the term purchased :
a. activePDF priority technical support
b. Free upgrades to PRODUCT whether major or minor.
c. Electronic mail notification of availability of upgrades to PRODUCT. ACTIVEPDF is not responsible
for blocked, filtered, or otherwise undeliverable email notifications.
d. Eligibility to participate in Private Beta programs. Private Beta program participation is subject to Non
Disclosure Agreement acceptance.
e. If PRODUCT is activePDF Portfolio
i. Free upgrades to any products contained within activePDF Portfolio.
ii. Free licensing of any products added to activePDF Portfolio.
iii. Cost-based upgrade path to superior level product should such a product become available.
4. The SUBSCRIPTION term (“TERM”) shall be the period in time indicated in the subscription quote or as
noted on the original order.
5. If, at any time during the TERM, PRODUCT should become unavailable or discontinued, ACTIVEPDF
reserves the right to provide to the subscriber at no additional cost, with a like product alternative.
6. The SUBSCRIPTION does not imply or grant any additional warranties or guarantees of the product owned.
7. Within 45 days of the SUBSCRIPTION expiration date, SUBSCRIBER will be notified via email of the
pending termination and provided with an option to purchase a renewal of the same SUBSCRIPTION for
PRODUCT. ACTIVEPDF is not responsible for blocked, filtered, or otherwise undeliverable email
notifications.
A 30-day grace period is provided for renewal following the termination date of the SUBSCRIPTION
agreement during which SUBSCRIPTION is offered at a cost of an additional 10% of price originally quoted.
If SUBSCRIBER does not renew SUBSCRIPTION prior to or during the grace period, all options to renew
will be reviewed on a case-by-case bases.
8. ACTIVEPDF reserves the right to change the terms of its SUBSCRIPTION offering at any time without
notice.
