The Support Tools menu bar provides you with the ability to save your Support Tools Log File, activePDF product Log Files, and Test PDFs to a single location. The menu bar also contains helpful activePDF web links and a link to the online documentation for Support Tools.

File

These options are available:


Save Log Files ToSave the Test PDFs generated by the Support Tools, the activePDF Support Tools Log File, and all product Log Files to a specified location. This is ideal for gathering and zipping your log files as part of an activePDF Support Ticket. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S.

NOTE: The Support Tools Archive Logs function may also be used to save log files. To archive log files, launch Support Tools, click Logging Options, and then click Archive Log Files. Support Tools will then save the files and display a dialog indicating their location. Typically the files are saved in the C:\Program Files\activePDF\Support Tools\Log Archive\ directory.
