NOTE: Dimmed services indicate the service is unavailable or not installed. Ensure the product is installed and working per the Support Log.

Controls

Start/Resume	Starts the stopped or paused service.
Stop	Stops the service, terminating the thread and waiting actions, and sets status to Stopped.
Pause	Puts the service on hold, suspending the thread, and sets status to Paused. Actions resume with thread.
Restart	Stops, then starts the service. Status should indicate Running when finished.
Services Console	Opens the Services console for configuring Windows services. Refer to the Services Help file before changing any settings.

Service Status

Running	Service is currently active. Status must be Running before using activePDF Software.
Stopped	Service is currently not active; you must Start before using activePDF Software.
Paused	Service is suspended; you must Resume before using activePDF Software. Any paused actions resume with service.
Service not found	The service, related files, or activePDF Software is not available. Review the Support Log for additional information or contact activePDF Technical Support at http://www.activepdf.com/support/supportprogram/supportservices/.
Unknown	Support Tools cannot resolve the status to one of the available options. Ensure you are running the Support Tools as Local Administrator and not using a Remote Connection. Manually check the services using the Services Console.
