activePDF Logo Usage Guidelines

The brand identity of activePDF, Inc. is its intellectual property and is an important and valuable corporate asset. The consistent and correct use of activePDF’s brand, logos, and trademarks will protect and increase their value over time. These guidelines apply to everyone - including activePDF employees, vendors, distributors, consultants, partners and other third parties. In order to maintain consistency, activePDF logos should be reproduced exactly as specified in these guidelines or pursuant to any logo use agreement you may have with activePDF.

Non-commercial Use

activePDF will hereby license the activePDF logos for non-commercial products and non-commercial websites. In addition to complying with all of the following terms, any use of the logos requires an acknowledgement of their trademark status and, if the use is on a web page, the logos must be used as a link to www.activePDF.com. To request additional activePDF logo artwork, please send an email indicating where, how, and for what purpose you plan to use the image(s).

 Acceptable non-commercial uses of the activePDF logos:

• The activePDF logos may be used on non-commercial web pages, where the context in which the activePDF logos are placed portrays activePDF in a positive light. You will need to include the following language in small text on the page where the activePDF logo appears: "The activePDF logo is a trademark of activePDF, Inc. Used with permission." Please make the "activePDF, Inc." a link to our home page (http://www.activePDF.com).
   
• The activePDF logos may be used only on non-commercial items. These items may include, but are not limited to, shirts, hats, pens and stickers. Additionally, the activePDF logos may not be modified in any way. If the lifetime use of the design is less than 25 units, you may consider permission automatically granted. These items may not, under any circumstances, be sold. For larger quantities of such items, request permission from activePDF, Inc.

Commercial Use

To inquire about the use of activePDF logo(s) on any commercial product or site, email us with a detailed description of the product or website, indicating where and how you would like to use the activePDF logo(s). If you have questions or comments about the activePDF logo or any other activePDF trademarks, or if you would like to use one of our trademarks in some way that has not been described on this page, please send us a detailed request.

Additional Legal Terms and Conditions

The activePDF logos have been created exclusively by activePDF, Inc. and are copyrighted trademarks of activePDF, Inc. The user of a personal website is not permitted to commercially exploit any of the activePDF logos. Nor can the web user transfer the activePDF logos to any third party. Any reprinting, sublicensing, copying, modifying, publishing, assignment, transfer, sales, or other distribution of the activePDF logos contained within any website is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of activePDF. The user shall not copy, reverse engineer, translate, port, modify or make derivative works of the activePDF logos without express written permission from activePDF, Inc..

All activePDF logos are to be used "as they appear" and are not to be cut, resized or altered without express written permission from activePDF, Inc. All activePDF Logos are copyrighted and may not be reproduced, even if modified or merged with other graphics. The user shall not alter or remove any copyright notice, digital watermarks or proprietary legend contained in/on any of the logos. Unauthorized copying of the activePDF logos or failure to comply with any of the terms, restrictions, conditions, or limitations herein will result in automatic termination of this non-exclusive license. In the event that activePDF requests the removal of the activePDF logo(s), you hereby agree to remove the logos from your server, hard drive, diskette, any CD Rom, Zip drive, network drive, or any forms of electronic/hard storage media within 24 hours of being notified.
