| activePDF Wins 3rd Visual Studio Magazine's Reader's Choice Award for Toolkit ™ 4.0 |
|
Mission Viejo, June 6, 2007 – activePDF Inc., a leading provider of PDF creation, conversion and development tools for Windows, announced that activePDF Toolkit has once again been honored with a highly-coveted Visual Studio Magazine's Reader's Choice Award in the "PDF Tools" category. The 2007 winners, which are featured in this month's issue of the magzine, are chosen by Visual Studio Magazine readers and recognize excellent software in over 20 development categories.
Patrick Meader, Visual Studio Magazine editor in chief, said, "the Readers Choice Awards are special as they represent an accolade from the people most qualified to say whether a product is great or not: those who use it. These are not managers voting, but developers—developers who use these tools on a daily basis to simplify their lives and create better software at a lower price. As such, there is no better recommendation for the value of a given company's product. I commend all the Readers Choice Award winners. Visual Studio Magazine readers have put their products on top".
activePDF CEO, Tim Sullivan, added that "we are thrilled that activePDF Toolkit has been acknowledged for the third consecutive year as the definitive ‘Reader's Choice' PDF software tool. Such recognition from those who actually use activePDF software is a tremendous honor and the ultimate seal of approval for our evolving product line".
Visual Studio Magazine presented awards in three categories:
- Readers Choice Awards, given to products that received the most readers' votes
- Readers Choice Merit Awards, given to products receiving a high number of votes that also show real value to Visual Studio Magazine readers
- Editors Choice Award, given to products that shows special merit or innovation, but don't fit comfortably into the standard categories
