Dynamically Generate PDF Labels Using activePDF Toolkit
This month’s tech tip demonstrates how you can easily employ activePDF Toolkit to dynamically create a PDF page of address labels using PrintImage for the label logo image and PrintMultilineText for the addresses. The sample output matches the standard Avery 5160 label which comprises 30 labels per page.

activePDF Server 3.8.4 Released
A new release of activePDF Server is available! This release includes several improvements, including:
  • Server incorrectly substitutes character fonts when font set is provided in the Windows font folder - FIXED
    Server will now look for fonts in the x:\Windows\Fonts folder
  • C++ applications in Debug mode will fail when importing Server OCX - FIXED
  • Document conversion will fail if the destination directory specified does not exist - FIXED
    Server will now attempt to create the directory path if it does not exist. It will also return an error immediately if directory path cannot be created    .
  • Server needed to log its interaction with SecureLM (licensing technology) when in Debug mode - FIXED
